Federal Employees have been treated badly this year. Employees were laid off due to Sequestration FY13, Employees didnot receive a pay raise FY13, Employees was furlough 6 or more days FY13, the Government shutdown was for 16 days and late pay checks FY14, Wage Grade employees will not receive a pay raise like the General Schedule employees FY14, since 2011 federal employees contributions have been 113 Billion dollars FY14, no other group of middle-class Americans has contributed to deficit reduction the way federal employees have, and it is time to find other ways to reduce the deficit than continually taking from the middle-class. Futhermore, federal employees have earned this day off with pay Mr. President. 1 day compared to the 6 /16 days of lost, it wasn't our choice.
