We the signers of this petition,
Do hereby request that the Obama Administration give all Civilian Federal employees the full 1.2% COLA for FY 2013 as recommended by the OPM and to make it retroactive to January 2013 once the pay freeze ends. Federal employees have contributed their share and more to reducing the Federal deficit, the Obama Administration has even demanded younger Federal employees pay a special tax to fund the payroll tax cut extension. After all these extraordinary sacrifices, Federal employees deserve a bit more, and the full COLA will still result in many losing ground, we wish to minimize their suffering and retain a first class workforce for the American people.
