Give Federal employees a more indicative pay raise to honor their sacrifices.

Employees of the Federal Government have endured pay freezes, budget decreases, increasing workloads due to cutbacks, and furloughs due to the irresponsibility of elected officials. They work as hard, if not harder, than many private sector employees, yet they have not been rewarded for their sacrifices, dedication, devotion, or selfless services nearly as much as they should have been. We finally have the economy necessary to enable the Federal Government to compete with the private job markets. Reward our Federal employees. They deserve so much more than a 1% increase in pay. Show them they matter, their sacrifices and hardships matter. Pay them what they are worth.
