The addition of We the People to the White House website is a wonderful gesture that seems to imply a movement into the right direction for government-public relations, but until we get any feedback on the number of petitions that have reached the allotted number of signatures, there is no way for the public to know whether or not the program is merely an innocuous feint to pacify public grumblings.
I urge that some sort of response be made to each of the petitions that have met the determined goal, lest this program become yet another false flag waved around as a distraction from tyranny.
