kashmir is an occupied state now.as at the time of partition kashmir was annexed with India without the wishes of Kashmir as Kashmiries wanted to annex Kashmir with Pakistan.So India deployed its forces in Kashmir.India deprived Kashmiris from their rights and freedom and now Kashmiris are treated with cruelty.So As independence is a right of every person and every state so why in the case of Kashmir it is not given importance?we want kashmir to be free from Indian occupation.if they don't want Kashmir to annex with Pakistan than they should declare it as an independant state
