give a full-hearted attempt at being bipartisan.

Dear Mr. President,
We the people are not entirely pleased with you, but have decided to give you a second term. As shown by the recent election the country is split down the middle. Now I know I don't need to remind you, but it deserves being repeated- You govern all of us, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Whites, Blacks, Hispanics ALL of us, so please do your best to reach across party lines and make a change. This gridlock isn't going to disappear until someone steps up and becomes the bigger man in attempting make compromises and without compromise nothing will get done, as proven in the last two years. So please Mr. President, give it your best effort, you are the leader of the greatest nation in the world and I hope you prove your worth.
