Our Founding Fathers were adamant that annoying, electronic toys should feature an on/off switch for the general welfare of parents, children and other concerned parties. (Source: U.S. Constitution, Rough Draft)
Why, then, do we permit the Furby (2012) to exist in its current unswitch-offable form?
From shore to shore, aggravated parents are spending the post-Christmas period not basking in the warm glow of family, friends and faith. Rather, they are stuffing Furbys into the nation's closets, trunks and even bathtubs in attempts to silence a toy that wants to "dah-noh-lah" like it's 1999.
In summary, the Furby is a dark and gathering storm. It needs an off switch. Urgently.
