Give the government the same pay & benefits as the rest of us!!

We the people propose that members of Congress, members of the Senate, and all government workers get the same pay & benefits as the rest of Americas working class. These people should not continue to get hundreds of thousands of dollars each year after retirement. They should get social security and health care benefits just like the rest of us based on a reasonable pay rate for the job they do. They do not work every day of the year and they get way too much time off and often times, they come to no decisions, so they are getting paid for doing nothing. If they received the same benefits as the rest of us, maybe they'd fight more for the American people. Let's put them in the same boat as the rest of us and see if they get more work done! We worry and they're set for life?! Wrong!
