The system in Kentucky is horrible. There are grandparents raising their grandchildren, and those grandparents have no rights! The parents can leave the children to be taken care of by the grandparent physically/emotionally/financially, and then just come and rip the child away from them at any time, and the law says "I'm sorry, but grandparents have no rights in Kentucky". It's sad that the children have to go through this! It's sad that the grandparents have to go through this!
This should not be allowed to continue! If we have a right to take care of these children by feeding them, bathing them, taking them to the doctor, buying their diapers and clothing, then we should have the right to keep them from being in a neglectful situation! GRANDPARENTS SHOULD HAVE RIGHTS!!!
