Aleppo, Syria has been plagued with violence in the past years, and it seems that us, the United States of America, are only bystanders. We need to act on this issue and help the people of Aleppo come to safety. We need to protect them and help evacuate the city so that no one has to undergo anymore pain. Children, women, men-- families-- are being torn apart by this terrible violence, and we need to help them survive. Congress needs to make the right, moral decision to help these individuals by providing food, medical aid, and protection. Although we have been providing assistance and have dedicated much money towards this situation, we need to do more. We need active participation in this critical period. If America, the land of the free and brave, do not extend our resources, who will?
