Give Honorably Discharged Vets priority in receiving pistol permits and "preference points" towards CCW.

Created by K.G. on November 16, 2012

Veterans have been given intensive training with rifles and firearms. They demonstrate maturity and responsibility in handling firearms. Most love the sport of shooting and wish to continue enjoying this sport. However after serving their country, Their state (at least some states) do not even consider giving priority to Veterans forcing them to wait anywhere from 6 months to a year to receive a permit/license. Further more there are a number of criminals carrying illegal firearms or weapons (knives). As it is well known the police and sheriff departments can not be every where at once, We should allow these already trained individuals the right to carry concealed weapons to protect themselves and the people they have been watching out for, The United States Citizens.
