Give a huge boost to the economy by addressing the issue of relief for the 76,000,000 American underwater homeowners.

Created by S.T. on September 06, 2012

There are about 76,000,000 Americans who owe more to the banks than their homes are worth. The banks are responsible for assessing the value of a home upon purchase. The banks have decades of data on each locality re-garding historical home values, employ-ment, incomes in the area, and sustain-ability. The consumer buying a home depends on the bank's knowledge to assure them they are buying value. However, the banks got greedy, over-valued all homes, and to boot through the stock market, bet on their own bad valu-ations. Banks got bailed out -- the consumer got left holding the bag. The homeowner has no choice except to try to "ride" it out for years to come hoping values will go back up to the amounts of their mortgage, foreclosure or short sale. Lose-lose for the homeowner.
