There needs to be a way for immigrants to become legal residents. If they have no criminal record only came to the US without a Visa or over stayed one. The only way they can now is to wait ten years to apply for a wavier if they were here over one year. It ruins families to be apart that long. It is also better for the economy to not to have it's citizen's having to travel out of the country to us loved ones /family since they would be spending that money here in the US.
