Give immigrants who have been in the U.S. for years an opportunity to work areas of high need in return for citizenship.

Created by G.G. on January 04, 2013

There are many immigrants who have been in the U.S. for years and decades, many who were have abilities, talents, education and specialties. Some of these people have children who were born in the U.S. but constantly live in fear of the government because they are not citizens. These people have sacrificed so much to live in the land of opportunity and to give their families hope of a better life. These are the people who would do anything to live free. If the U.S. made a program for them to work in areas of high need in exchange for their citizenship, for example; construction, education, military, etc. They could receive a stipend during their service to assist them until they finish their service, cutting cost for personnel and give opportunity to those who are already here today.
