It is clear with the failure of Prop 37 in California that people still don't understand what GMO's really are and how they hurt you.
So instead, how about we give incentives to farmers and companies that DO NOT USE GMO'S in their products, and thus label the products accordingly. There would be many companies and organic farmers that would gladly list NO GMO's on their packaging, ending the confusion of what DOES and what DOES NOT contain these life and health altering foods.
This would also help in the spread of awareness for those who do not follow social media or scientific journals by making the decision easier for consumers. If we want true health care reform in this country in must start with what we put in our bodies. We cant eat smart if we don't know.
