Give the Indian H-1B Professionals a Chance to Live the American Dream

Created by A.S. on March 01, 2015

The biggest draconian legal requirement for H-1B visa is that the worker must be employed at all times. The consulting companies exploit this legality by always keeping their H-1Bs on the hook. Most consulting companies don’t even offer PTO or sick days to compensate for the cost of sponsoring H-1B visa. The process of applying for GC can take up to a decade or more for Indian citizens.

# Allow 6-8 weeks to find a new job.

# Bring forward the point when a GC beneficiary is able to simultaneously work for multiple employers: It is only allowed once a beneficiary receives his EAD.
