It is known for quite some time now, that Governor Andrew Cuomo legalized Marijuana for medicinal purposes in New York this year. But the fight doesn't end with just medical care to "specific complications". I.e. I am diagnosed with a mental disability, is it wrong to have a right to receive marijuana too? Retail sale and consumption has proven positive, created economic growth in Washington and Colorado, and also spurred hundreds of new jobs and business in just one year. NYC for example still has NYPD disappointingly arresting minors for marijuana possession, disabling the right for education or jobs in their future. A big change in law can help facilitate minor set backs, and the promise to wait and less illegal ways to obtain marijuana. Clean up gang-related issues from drug dealers.
