Iran is currently involved in creating a nuclear program and whether we like it or not they are going to do it (whether it be for military or energy applications)
Why not help them create energy that has no products that can be turned into weapons allowing for a release of some of the major tension in the middle east.
An alternate fuel for nuclear fission other than Uranium is Thorium fuel this is an abundant low waste fuel that unlike Uranium does not give off a waste that can be weaponised.
Give the Iranian Thorium reactors or the technology to create only thorium reactors this should at least relieve some of the tension and possible help avoid another major war.
At least by offering we can find out their true intentions regard acquiring an atomic arsenal.
