As a first time low-level non violent drug offender Latonia Jones was sentenced to 26yrs in the IDOC. She has currently served 9 of 13yrs and has positioned Gov Bruce Rauner for commutation of sentence and is now petitioning President Obama to be eligible for commutation under his mandatory minimum bill. Because MS. Jones is sentenced at the state level, in order for President Obama to consider her petition she needs 100,000 signatures in 30 days. She needs your support to reach this goal, She is a mother of 5 daughters and has spent the past 9 years rehabilitating herself.
She currently trains dogs for the disabled and graduated from dog training,dog grooming, and rest. management, amongst other college courses and certificates.
