Sgt. Rafael Peralta USMC, saved the lives of fellow Marines in Iraq 2004, by falling on a grenade. He was awarded the Navy Cross instead of the MOH. The MOH requirements state: "The deed performed must have been one of personal bravery or self-sacrifice so conspicuous as to clearly distinguish the individual above his or her comrades and must have involved risk of life." Which he did, lets give him a chance. Pass this around get it signed and give this MARINE his medal!
