The purpose of this petition is to ask the United States government to pass a law with equal marriage rights. The constitution protects the rights of every individual and every state. State laws decree that a person should not be discriminated for their race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc.
Everyone should be able to love equally and without restrictions. It’s unfair to not recognize or legalized gay marriage. Every individual reserves the right to love equally.
It’s not as if there is any harm in what an individual person likes.
