Give Me Light or Give Me Death: Lift Unconstitutional Ban on Incandescent Light Bulbs

Created by W.T. on January 05, 2014

First, government forced us to purchase car insurance. Second, government is forcing us to purchase health insurance. Now, government forces us to "save energy". Thus, costing the average American more cash.

It is a gross overreach of government and an unbelievable violation of consumer liberties to dictate that we can not purchase light bulbs that "consume more energy". It is not the responsibility of the government to tell us, the people, that we must purchase more expensive light bulbs to save energy.

Most Americans purchase products based on budget. With a tight budged, incandescent bulbs just make sense. They emit a warm glow to any room, and more importantly, they are CHEAPER. Such a gross overreach of federal government regulation should not be tolerated by the American people.
