The Merchant Marines served in World War II and since the World War II are the passing away faster and faster. We, the American People, are in debt to the people who have served. Merchant Marines transfered materials to the people in heavy fire! They had 465 ship and traveled across the world during the war. So since they served we should give them there military pension.
