Give Military and law enforcement agents the right to own high capacity clips and "Military style" assault rifles.

In light of the recent tragedy in Newtown, Con, the Obama administration is currently brainstorming a legislation that will limit the access of "Military style" assault rifles and high capacity magazines to the citizens of the United States. While your average citizen may be inexperienced with these weapons and magazines, there are some citizens who work, live, and train with these weapons on a frequent basis, both inside and outside of work. This petition is to add an addendum to the possible future legislation on firearms ownership, letting Military Servicemembers and Law Enforcement Agents own these types of weapons and magazines after passing appropriate state and/or federal background checks and evaluations for firearm ownership.
