During a military operation in Afghanistan, four Navy SEALs were deployed behind enemy lines. During the mission the SEALs got into a firefight with the Taliban in which they were heavily outnumbered. The last surviving team member, Marcus Luttrell, was able to escape the conflict despite his injuries.
While the enemy was pursuing the Navy SEAL; the SEAL met a local who offered him help in a time of need. The villager’s name was Mohammad Gulab. Mohammad Gulab saved Marcus Luttrell from death at the Taliban's hands.
Gulab is now under threat of death from the Taliban himself. He needs to be given a green card to escape the Taliban. He can live in the US safely. His actions alone merit that American people should provide safe haven for him. He is currently in danger and we should act.
