The government should provide money to all legal and legitimate U.S. citizens, to spend and stimulate the global economy. The money can be provided by not debt, but by taxing obscenely wealthy individuals; since they are so incredibly wealthy, they will feel no real pain from losing the money. The wealthy individuals may opt to donate some or most of what would be taxed to charity, however, if they feel it to be a better cause.
"Bailing out" a large corporation will provide absolutely no benefits to the actual consumers. Prices continue to rise as their wallets grow fatter. End the gluttony, feed the hungry, and pay the working man all at once.
