Give More Funding To The Mental Health Care System

Created by J. . on November 15, 2013

The mental health care system in the United States is severely lacking in funding which results in violence. The mental health care system is so underfunded and low on resources that they often send someone out of the hospital even if they aren't really ready because someone else is maybe more severe than them. The hospital only has a certain number of beds and they want to keep as many beds open and help as many people as possible. This is a very good thing, but the person who gets bumped is still unstable. They might go and do something violent because of their illness. ObamaCare gave more tax money to the mental health care system but it is not enough. There are many mentally ill people still not able to get the treatment they need. We need more funding for mental health care.
