There is a need to find a cure for HSV (type1-type2) as millions of people are effected with it. This is not considered important as it is not life threatening but the psychological stigma it brings is hard to live with. the administration should give more funds to researchers like Bryan Cullen, the director at the Center for Virology at Duke University so that the cure for HSV can be found soon. the cure is near but the research does not have enough funds to reach that point.
