The Affordable Care Act along with Obamacare was created in late 2010 to ensure that health insurance is more affordable for all people. Although it has covered more than 15.9 million people there are still 44 million people without health insurance. 52% of people are uninsured in rural areas. That is half the city. Most of the people without Health insurance are people in rural areas and poor people. The average person has to pay $644.05 which is double the amount at $320.06 in an urban city. Prices like this make it far from affordable for poor people and people in rural areas.
Thus being said there should be more subsidies for poor people and people in rural areas. This will lower the amount of people who are uninsured. Raising the taxes will pay for the cost of Healthcare.
