The USS Enterprise is one of the most Iconic and well known symbols of the US Navy and enjoys a certain celebrity status in the United States. Unfortunately, due to the process of removing the reactors from Enterprise, it will not be possible to see her donated as a museum to commemorate all who served aboard.
The goal of this petition is to see one of the new Gerald R. Ford Class Supercarriers carry on the mantra of this great lady by recieving the name "USS Enterprise CVN-65-A."
