Give NASA the mission of going back to the Moon and establishing a settlement by the end of President Obama's 2nd term.

When Obama took office he said we'd go to an asteroid by the late 2020's. That's too far away to make any difference in our lives, it doesn't stimulate nor inspire the minds & hearts of anyone. We want a clear goal that can be completed by the time Obama leaves office in 2017. A goal that everyone can support, which will inspire the world and bring us out of our economic decay. We want to go back to the Moon and establish a base, to stay permanently. The Apollo Program galvanized the nation in the 60's & 70's. People dreamed of tomorrow, children wanted to be scientists and engineers, and we stimulated our economy. Now with commercial companies we can do it cheaper and better than before. This can also be done on NASA's present budget. Please make this a reality in our near future.
