It has become obvious that the NSA has tremendous capabilities to infiltrate and, if necessary, disrupt computer systems. Let's give them a very important job to do.
Mr. President, please direct the NSA and its supporting agencies to undertake the the job of eliminating the worldwide SPAM email networks, shutting down the SPAM servers and BotNets, and perhaps even bringing a few of the perpetrators to justice.
This would, if successful, eliminate a big irritant in our national electronic life and might help the economy in many ways. Think of what a wonderful gift this would be to every civilized nation in the world, and how grateful they would be.
