Give an official response to the death of Christopher Lane, similar to the "If I had a son..." response for Trayvon.

There seems to be themes of a racially motivated hate crime in the case of Christopher Lane, who was completely and undeniably innocent in his daily life when he was murdered in cold blood by three teenage punks who are the dregs of society. Obama should give a response declaring this crime as a hate crime, and he should unite with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to fight for justice and peace for the death of an upstanding, scholarship student-athlete.
