Give The Orcas A Voice!

Created by C.K. on May 24, 2014

These beautiful creatures are emotionally broken. For example, Tilikum. A 32 year old orca that was captured at a young age and taken out of his pod from his mother against his will and confined to a small concrete tank for profit. These amazing animals have a receptor in their brain that allows them to interpret emotion. They feel, they have sense of self. Maybe more than we do.
At seaworld they tell us that the average life span is 35 years, but they live longer in captivity. They say the dorsal fin collapses as they get older. Yet the truth is that they live up to 80-90 years and dorsal collapse is unhealthy. Seaworld presents itself as a family establishment full of fun activities however, these 'fun activities' harm the orcas physically and emotionally. They need our voice.
