We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Give our paper currency Certain qualities that allow the visually imparied to distinguish between the different notes.

Created by G.O. on December 27, 2016

A large issue for the visually imparied citizens of the United States is that there is no easy way for them to distinguish between the different currency. There are certain ways that they can, but these are not easy for many citizens to access. For example, there is an app for smartphones that scans the bills and tells you which was scanned. This may seem like a solution, but this application does not cater to all Americans. We the People call for the Department of the Treasury to add a defining feature on each of the bills, so that the visually imparied can distinguish between them. Let us follow the lead of nations like Canada, and help our blind, and visually imparied citizens.
