For many years presidents have given their troops not actively engaged the day following thanksgiving as a day of rest. It has not happened in almost 4 years. It may not seem like a big deal. But for those of us away from our friends and families it means everything. It plays a major role in troop morale, not having to use leave days. It's a simple request with a simple reply. So please, Give our troops a little more time to be with the ones they love.
