It's time we take control of our homes. We, the parents of America, are done sacrificing our families basic rights to life for the rights of others. The laws should protect us all equally but there are many loop holes due to language and other factors. We can start a by first acknowledging the issues with violence in our society is in the home. The problem isn't Just in low income, broken homes, or white America vs black America. The problem is parents are no linger held accountable for our kids. There's no punishment for turning a blind eye to the behaviors of our young. Make those parents who aren't getting their child help just as responsible. Just because you turn 18 shouldn't mean your parents should have to jump thru hoops to get help. Make 18 an adult with limits.
