Give the people the right to fire/replace members who are not efficiently doing the jobs we put them into office for

Created by B.M. on September 27, 2011

The continuous impasses in congress are evidence that the those who have been elected into congressional office are incapable of doing their jobs. Negotiations need to be made in a timely and efficient manner and, each side needs to recognize that fair compromise is essential. If Party-R commits to, or even verbally agrees to, make a compromise with the Party-D if items A, B, and C are met, and those items are then met by Party-D, then Party-R needs to be held accountable to uphold any verbal agreement they made (& vice versa). Failure to uphold compromises that will allow legislation to move forward should result in the firing/replacement of those members of congress that are not operating with complete integrity. Integrity of our house and congressional leaders is NON-negotiable.
