give the people trying to make things work out a bonus on their taxes

There are people who are actively trying to make life work for them. They have full time jobs and ends aren't being met. They do not have any government assistance throughout the year, are being smart about spending, and aren't having more kids than they can care for. Why are these same people owing taxes? People who aren't getting help through the year should get a bonus on their tax returns for this. They shouldn't have to owe money they can't pay. Give these people a break. Give people who can hold a job and are not on assistance and making less than a certain amount a break! They need help too but are always punished by the government.
