True Americans consider free speech a very precious right, which is why it's the first amendment in the Constitution. Unfortunately, there are some people who would like to take away this right and suppress ideas that they don't agree with. This is un-American.
The petitions to deport Piers Morgan are an unfortunate example of this. True Americans value a diversity of opinion and protect the right everyone--even those they disagree with--to say what they think. Free speech is the cornerstone of American society.
To show that the citizens and the government of the United States fully supports the First Amendment, President Obama should present Piers Morgan with an award for standing by his opinion, in spite of the un-American sentiments of a few who would like to take that right away.
