Americans have lost their say in what America does. Elected officials only have their personal best interests and the interests of their wallets in mind. The people we are allowed to elect to represent us do not adequately represent the majority of citizens they are elected to represent. Allow the citizens of America to vote on whether or not to engage in war, financial assistance, or changes to healthcare and tax laws. Give some of the power back to the people. Open voting allows each sector's representatives the opportunity to see how the people who put them in office whish them to vote. If the people of America have the ability to choose, the outcome physically represents the wishes of the people, not the officials elected to represent them and their agendas.
