Give priority Medical Residency Rights to US Citizens and Permanent Residents in USA who are Foreign Medical Graduates

Created by A.A. on June 29, 2013

It is the right of US citizens and permanent residents who possess foreign medical degrees to enter 3 year residency program in the US hospitals. They deserve preference over H1 / J1 immigrants in the selection process due to the fact of former being the citizens or permanent residents of USA. It would be unfair to deprive US citizens and permanent residents of the employment opportunities in their own country despite having valid degrees and required qualifications. It is high time to do justice with such US citizens especially while they have also passed USMLE exams, are law abiding citizens, tax payers and who stand by the fundamental principles on which their country United States of America is based. Let such citizens NOT be treated as second class citizens regarding their livelihood.
