give priority to veterans with service related injuries. If VA cannot help, allow them a choice in where to go.

Created by M.F. on November 02, 2015

Our current generation of veterans is unique. We have asked them to do more, with a smaller serving force, in some of the longest wars in our history. Multiple deployments have compounded medical problems. Many suffer from joint pain, which is consistent with the kinds of injuries one would expect to find among soldiers with heavy packs, jumping in and out of big trucks and airplanes. Some suffer from post traumatic stress. Fixing VA will take years-- perhaps decades. Therefore, allow veterans with service related injuries to take priority in care. Give them a choice if VA fails them.
