There have been separate proposals for this in the past, but combining them into a single large project would not only simplify the decision-making process, but also prevent there from being too many new flag designs!
We propose the formulation of 6 states from the existing California, 5 States from the current Texas, and granting the U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico statehood. The result would be the 60 United States of America plus D.C.
The potential benefits of this are numerous: proper senatorial representation, better electoral vote distribution, and refined local regulating authority, just to name a few. Following through with this proposal would benefit millions of Americans. Thank you for your consideration.
