Give the public a country that will give the youth a future and old age a security.

Over the years, college has become more and more expensive. Because of this, many intelligent children who are in a less fortunate financial situation have been unable to get an education. In the state of Tennessee there is such a thing as the "Tennessee Promise" which gives every student who registers a chance to get 2 years of college for free. Why not do something like this nationwide? There are many bright young Americans that deserve this help. Why can't we give them a future?
Another problem facing our country is the security of our senior citizens. Many of them can't live off their retirement. Because of this why not do like Switzerland and allow American citizens over 70 years of age to not be taxed? This is a country for the people, and we should help the young and old.
