Give residents of the District of Colombia representation in the House.

Created by J.N. on January 21, 2013

District residents live, work and pay taxes in the United States without being accurately represented in Congress. They are in a state of flux; they live like a normal US citizen without enjoying all of the rights of a citizen. This is a simple matter that can be fixed with legislation giving Congresswoman Eleanor Norton the same powers as other representatives, making her an official congresswoman rather than a figurehead. Ask Congress to pass legislation giving DC citizens the same rights as every other American!
