give the residents of the District of Columbia representation in Congress.

Created by R.E. on October 03, 2011

Residents of the District of Columbia deserve some sort of voting representation in congress. Currently Washington DC has only a non-voting delegate in the House of Representatvies. Congress has direct control over the district, and residents pay federal taxes; yet, district residents are unable to elect a representative to vote on their behalf.
