Many people living on Whidbey Island and surrounding islands are the main contributors towards paying for ferry service year round. One problematic scenario is many commuters that live on the islands sometimes have to wait hours to be able to get on the ferry to get home. We are petitioning for current residence of the surrounding Puget Sound Islands to have priority ferry dock loading.
