Give the same income based protection to people with private student loans as people with federal student loans.

Currently there is no protection for private student loan borrowers. Beyond twelve months of deferment, borrowers have no options and are forced into default status and bad credit reporting. Almost instantly ruining their chances of acquiring anything credit worthy in the future. People are stuck with high student loan payments that they cannot afford. Meanwhile, people with federal loans are only required to pay monthly payments that are only based upon the individuals monthly income. Stop protecting the banks and grant the People of The United States with private student loans the same privileges as citizens with federal student loans. Allow the People of the United States to afford their monthly bills and build this economy from the ground up.
