I feel that forcing schools to bend to the healthy lunch policies enforced by government in order to get funding is unfair to the public school system. Over the past two years I have slowly watched school lunches become less and less appealing and heard my peers complain more and more. Very few things are not "whole wheat," "low fat," and the like. I understand the concept and concerns that have led to these strict dietary guidelines, however I do not believe this is the way to go about it. In a way, telling schools they will not be paid unless they do as they are told is akin to bribery, which can lead to impeachment, only in this case the injustice of bribing is on a far larger scale. If America claims to put education in such high priority, the government should fund schools regardless!
